The current commercial area between Petersbrunner Strasse and Moosstrasse is no longer suitable for the establishment of new companies. The planned development of a versatile area where working, living and leisure activities are possible is therefore of great importance for the further revitalization of the town of Starnberg. It is also a decisive building block for the economic development of our town.

The connecting quarter will create an urban quarter with around 80,000 square meters of floor space at the entrance to Starnberg, providing plenty of space for businesses, medical practices, hotels, restaurants and other uses, including a daycare centre and possible public facilities. In addition, living space will be created for broad sections of the population - including special forms of housing such as retirement living, including care. The attractive mix of housing, services and work as well as leisure and culture in the urban quarter itself and beyond is intended to connect with the city, the lake and the moss.
